Journals By Elle, an Introductory Post
Welcome to Journals By Elle
I originally started blogging back in October of 2025. Over time, my blogs and their purpose have shifted quite a bit. What first began as my primary blog being a gaming-focused blog eventually grew into something much broader in the form of me writing multiple blogs to cover a range of topics I wished to discuss. After experimenting with multiple blogs for different topics, I realized I didn’t need separate spaces to talk about the things I love or the experiences that shape my life. Instead, I decided to bring everything together here in one place.
So, beginning now, I'm changing things up. Journals By Elle is now going to be a personal corner of the internet where I can write about anything that inspires me, no restrictions.
What Is Journals By Elle About?
I created this space as a creative outlet, a diary, and a little keepsake of my life and interests. Here you’ll find posts about the hobbies and things I love; gaming, fashion, reading, anime, makeup and beauty, along with occasional personal reflections about my day-to-day life and my experiences living with disability and chronic illness.
In short, this blog is a personal lifestyle and hobby blog. Some posts may be light and fun, others more reflective, and some simply me sharing whatever I’m currently excited about.
About The Writer
Hi everyone! My name is Elle. I’m a 26-year-old living on my family’s small farmette as a homemaker and college student studying fine arts. Much of my time is spent tending to my home, creating art, and taking care of myself as someone who lives with chronic illness and disability.
I’m happily taken by my life partner, and I’m also part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I identify as bisexual, asexual, and overall queer.
I have a wide range of hobbies and interests. I love gaming, collecting little trinkets, writing, baking, reading, and watching movies and shows. Most recently, I’ve also been working on improving my cosplay, makeup, and painting skills.
I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once I feel comfortable, I tend to become talkative and enthusiastic. I’d describe myself as sensitive, creative, adaptable, and occasionally a little stubborn.
Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I hope you’ll stick around for the stories, hobbies, and everyday moments that make life a little more interesting.
With love,
– Elle
